getting to Trento

The easiest way to reach Trento is by train .Timetable and ticket purchase can be found at Trenitalia (Italian railways) or at Deutsche Bahn (German railways).

If you are coming by car, you have to take the Brennero motorway (A22) and exit at “Trento sud” (since the exit “Trento centro” is temporarily closed) and then drive towards the conference location.

If you are coming by airplane, the closest airports are Verona (90 km from Trento), Bolzano (60 km from Trento), Brescia (160 Km), Venezia (173 Km), Bergamo (180 Km), Milano-Aeroporto di Linate (226 Km), Milano-Aeroporto di Malpensa (264 Km) and Munich (335 km).

On Thursday December 13^th the conference takes place at Centro Congressi Panorama in Sardagna, which is located 5 km from the city center, on a rock (560 mt high) dominating the city. It can be reached by cableway departing every 15’-20’ from Ponte San Lorenzo, once you crossed the river Adige. It is in a walking distance from the Railways station (see map). The Centro Congressi Panorama is just in front of the arrival station of the cableway. In case of strong wind there are substitute bus rides. The timetable of the cableway is available here. Taxis are also available (tel. +390461930002 or +390461826840).

On Friday December 14^th the conference takes place at IRVAPP – Fondazione Bruno Kessler - via Santa Croce 77, which is in a walking distance from either the departing station of the cableway (see map) or the railway station.

Accomodation

Meals and coffee breaks are provided by the organisers, while travel and accommodation costs are to be paid by the participants.

There is a limited number of rooms (20) at Centro Congressi Panorama, which have been reserved for the conference. Reservation priority will be given to speakers and presenters. Confirmation of reservation should be addressed to infoirvapp@fbk.eu.
